The YDE Story
Before the crown. Before the applause. Before the world sees it.
Walk like God already called you.
Young David Energy was born from a simple but powerful idea: building in the dark so you can shine in the light. In a world obsessed with the reveal, the spotlight, and the finished product, we believe the most important work happens in the hidden places—in the prayer closet, in the quiet study, in the seasons of waiting and preparation.
We are a media startup, yes. But more than that, we are a movement for the modern-day Davids. We are for the creators who know their craft is a call. We are for the leaders who prioritize character over content. We are for the believers who understand that their platform isn’t theirs at all—it’s a stewardship for the Kingdom.
Why the Name?
We took the name Young David because before he was a king, he was a shepherd. Before he fought Goliath, he fought lions and bears that no one else saw. He didn’t need an audience to be obedient. He didn’t need a crown to be chosen. He was already anointed in the pasture long before he was recognized in the palace.
THE YDE MISSION
Young David Energy exists to create Christ-centered media that encourages people to encounter God, deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ, and courageously walk in faith, surrender, and obedience. Through authentic stories of redemption, transformation, and everyday discipleship, YDE seeks to point people toward Christ and inspire them to faithfully pursue the purpose and assignments God has placed before them.
Our Vision
To become a trusted Christ-centered media brand that reaches people across communities and generations. Using authentic stories, biblical truth, creative content, and meaningful conversations to lead people toward deeper relationship with God and the hope, healing, and transformation found in Jesus Christ.
OUR CORE VALUES
Christ-Centered Truth
Jesus Christ is the foundation of Young David Energy. Everything we create should remain rooted in Scripture, guided by biblical truth, and ultimately point people back to Him.
Authenticity
We believe transformation is most powerful when it is shared honestly. YDE creates space for real stories, real struggles, real growth, and genuine encounters with God—without pretending the journey is always easy or polished.
Hope & Healing
We believe no story is beyond the redemptive power of God. Through every message, testimony, and conversation, YDE seeks to remind people that healing is possible, hope remains, and God is still writing their story.
Humility
Our purpose is not to elevate personalities, platforms, or personal accomplishments. We seek to recognize God as the source of every gift, opportunity, testimony, and transformation, keeping the focus on what He is doing rather than who receives the credit.
Family & Legacy
We believe faith should impact the generations that come after us. YDE honors the importance of marriage, parenthood, childhood, mentorship, family relationships, and the responsibility to build a legacy rooted in faith, love, character, and purpose.
Courageous Initiative
Faith often requires movement. We encourage people to step forward when God calls, confront fear, pursue purpose, serve others, create boldly, and trust God even when the entire path is not yet visible.
Obedience & Surrender
Following Christ is more than inspiration; it is a daily decision. YDE encourages practical acts of faith, obedience, surrender, and trust that allow God to shape every area of our lives.
